Medal of Honor

The first Medal of Honor for Operation of Iraqi Freedom has been awarded. It has been awarded to Sergeant Paul Smith for "extraordinary heroism and uncommon valor without regard for his own life in order to save others . . . in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service. . ." after he was killed in Iraq. Go here to read his story. God Bless all our soldiers fighting out there and my heartfelt condolences go out to Sgt. Smith's family.
